Easy Peasy: Indoor S'mores

In our house, s'mores is the official dessert. Fortunately, you don't need a campfire to be able to hack this. It pleases both the kids and especially the adults. :) It's gooey, sticky, messy, and of course, yummy! This dessert is so easy to make, kids can pitch in to help.

To make this, you will need:

1 medium bag of large, fluffy, white marshmallows 1 bag of semi-sweet or milk baking chocolate chips Graham crackers

Pre-heat the oven at 190C. Use any round oven-safe cookware. I used a pie pan because that's what I have around but you can use a cast iron pan or a glass dish, whatever you have handy. Generously cover the bottom of the pan with chocolate chips. I use semi-sweet chocolate if most of the guests are adults and milk chocolate if I'm making it for kids. Place the pan on the middle rack of the oven. Bake for seven minutes. BUT, whatever the recipe says, keep your eye on it! Oven temperatures vary slightly especially if the thermostat is not digital. Once the tops of the marshmallows are golden, take it out. It can go from golden to black in no time. :) We don't want that. :) Use the graham crackers to "spoon" out all that melted goodness.

This dessert is easy to make and so fun to eat. You have no choice but to gather around and jostle for position to establish a prime scooping position. :)
